Lip blushing is ideal if you want better lip definition, more balanced tone, improved symmetry, and a soft everyday look without daily lipstick.

Two and a half to three hours, taking in the consultation and shade selection, shape mapping, numbing, and the layered pigment application.

Initial healing takes about 5–7 days. After that the colour keeps developing and settling gradually, and the healed result is assessed at roughly 4–6 weeks — judging it before then is premature.

Clients describe tingling, warmth, vibration and a light scratching or pressure rather than sharp pain. Sensitivity is not the same across the whole lip: some areas register more than others.

A perfecting session is planned for 5–6 weeks after the first appointment, once the lips have fully settled. It refines colour, symmetry and retention.

Roughly every 1.5–3 years. The interval is individual: it depends on skin type — dry, normal, combination or oily — how quickly your skin renews, how well your skin holds pigment, lifestyle, aftercare and sun exposure. On oily and combination skin pigment fades faster in some areas.

Tell us in advance. If you have ever had cold sores on the lips, see your physician beforehand about an antiviral such as Valtrex (valacyclovir) or Acyclovir. Prophylaxis usually starts 2–3 days before the appointment and continues afterwards as your physician directs. Lips must be free of an active outbreak on the day.

Hydrated and calm — no cracks, irritation, active cold sores or sunburn. If you have had lip filler, allow at least 4–5 weeks before booking.
